Homebrew D&D at The Long Rest (session 0)

An old friend of yours, Favian Cartwright, a treasure hunter, had asked you to meet him in the small mining town of Old Dune on the night of the new moon.. Where the mine caves have collapsed and abandoned for years but treasure hunters and adventures still attempt to seek riches and lost treasure among the ruins.

You arrive three days late due to military patrols and checkpoints along the way. No one has seen your friend but you start to notice that there are missing people posters up everywhere.
